About me
15 years in IT – from helpdesk to architecture
My name is Andreas Pohl, born in 1991, and I have been working in IT for around 15 years. I started where you really learn technology: at the helpdesk, right next to the people using it.
Through service operations and data centre monitoring, system administration and ownership of applications, I moved into development, from there into automation and integration, and finally into solution design and architecture for ServiceNow and BMC Remedy. That range is my biggest advantage today: I know operations, development and design – and I know how a solution actually lands in everyday work.

What you probably want to know
What does working together cost?
Billing is by the hour or by the day; for clearly scoped work a fixed price is possible too. The first conversation is free, and you get a quote with effort and price before anything starts.
Do you work remotely or on site?
Both. Most of it runs remotely; in Vienna and the surrounding area I also come on site – for KNX installations or work on servers, for example.
Do you take on small jobs?
Yes. A single automation, one consulting session or a second opinion on an existing solution are just as welcome as a project running for months.
How quickly can you start?
I usually reply to enquiries within 24 hours. Smaller tasks can often be done within a few days; larger undertakings we plan together.
Do you also do enterprise projects in ServiceNow or BMC Remedy?
Yes, on request. There I work as a freelancer inside the project team – solution design, architecture and development.
Which languages do you work in?
German and English.
